Orgatec 2010: Spotlight on MeetYou partitioning
Another Orgatec premiere at the Haworth booth. As places where people meet and communicate, discussion and meeting areas in offices have to fulfil two key criteria: communication has to be a pleasant experience, and the meeting place must be appealing, comfortable and, to a certain extent, cosy. The German designer of MeetYou, Michael Schmidt, was motivated by the desire to create self-supporting partitions and coherent, flowing landscapes with decent acoustics, a maximum of wall surface fabric and minimal visible supports. The result is an innovative solution with convincing acoustic and design qualities.

Office environments need to be adaptable to support different work styles, sustainable to comply with stricter legislation and growing ecological awareness, and cost-efficient as rents rise in most locations. T_up is a comprehensive and cost-effective desking system that provides answers to these differing demands. Its intelligent platform design provides for easy assembly into numerous configurations and its storage options transform a simple desk into an efficient and integrated workspace.

One outcome of this shared belief is LTB Lounge, a brand-new product range that can further creative collaboration processes through new work settings and postures.

Orgatec 2010: Spotlight on Vados storage
The name says it all: “vado” is Latin for go, change, transform or adapt, the “s” stands for storage. In today’s business environment a cabinet range has to be capable of accommodating change and transformation, so adaptability is a key factor. Vados, Haworth’s brand-new cabinet range on view for the first time at Orgatec 2010, meets all these requirements – the ideal storage solution.

There are office lights, and there are Haworth lights. The average office user may find the difference hard to spot. But the people who sit on award juries have an expert eye for decisive details. And that is where two award-winning desk lights from Haworth, LIM and Brazo, have outshone the competition.
